Free of Traffic: Behind the gates of a Gated Community, strict rules regarding traffic ways and speeding are enforced.  This makes it a lot safer for children to ride their bicycles and play around.  It will also be a lot quieter if there is nobody racing their motorcycle or motor vehicle up and down the street.

Staying in a Gated Area can be more costly than living in a standard, regular community.  You will, however, have a lot of privileges.  These communities usually boast areas for recreation, parks, entertainment areas, and it can even have its own market area.

Possible Negatives of Living in a Gated Community:

  1. Waiting at the Gate: You might experience being in a queue to get to your home.  In peak time for leaving and coming home from work, you might take awhile to get home.  Gated Communities mostly have two or three gates, but all will need some kind of access codes.
  2. Limited Time periods for Contractors’ working hours: To keep safety and security intact for all, people that need to do work on your home or appliances might have only certain hours that they can do the work required.
